I’ve been contemplating a blog for quite a while now… and this past Christmas break, I finally had an opportunity to get some webspace, buy a domain name, and get this site up and running. I have a deep passion about the direction of US policy in many areas… and I am getting a J.D. to further my competence in this area.

Toledo Common Pleas Court May-August 2007

Worked for Judge Jensen as part of a Law School externship program. Involved with drafting opinions and legal research. Experienced firsthand the criminal system and court practice. An invalueable experience.

The Andersons Grain (www.andersonsinc.com) 2005-08

Part-time web designer and general media specialist. Work includes photography, Print Publishing, Web development and assisting programers with programming in ASP. Other work included writing instructional manuals for complex online content management systems.

Center for Security Policy (www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org) 2003-2005

Intern and eventual web-master at the highly competitive center. Supervised development and administration of their new websites. Built online blogging system for use with their Academic Council. Services were requested for subsequent projects as part of my freelance business.

Family Security Matters (www.familysecuritymatters.org) 2003-Present

Web-master. Rescued FSM from a website project gone sour. Updated interface, added Database-driven membership section and blog. Learned development practices for an open-source content management system PHP-NUKE. Ongoing projects related to improving usability and interface enhancements.

Digital Media Research Group 2001-03

Software Research / Development manager. Created fully interactive video conferencing software produce using Macromedia Flash and the Flash Communications Server. Implemented software and troubleshot for BGSU?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s distance learning program
