They are simply incapable of understanding that charity does not exist when it comes by force. Their brains are wired differently. They think that it is better to bring the rich down, rather than creating an environment that allows the poor to rise up. After all, it's not really about charity, or goodness, or even economic equality (ie, Marxism). No, it is really about jealousy and revenge. What they cannot accomplish in themselves, they seek to destroy in others. It really is a mental disease, Joel, and you should treat accordingly. Speak slowly with small words, enunciate, and use pictures when possible. Joel – you have to be patient with these folks.
