If you didn’t know, moveon.org bought a full-page add in the New York Times entitled, “General Petraeus or General Betray Us?“.

Also, if you didn’t know, Ohio congressman Dennis Kusinich went on Syrian television and condemned Bush (and the entire U.S. by extention) for our “illegal occupation” of Iraq…. Jerk.

Also, if you didn’t know, many members of congress are practically slandering General Petraeus and have already refused to believe a word he has to say even though he 1) has not testified and 2) even though they all voted unanimously for his confirmation.

I cannot tell you how enraged I am. Where do Democrat lawmakers in their cush offices get off telling a 5 star general, a man of impeccable integrity and honor who’s military expertise and personal integrity are being put on the line day after day,  that he doesn’t know what he is talking about? On what more accurate facts are they basing their opinion? On the the basis of how many months of experience on the ground are their opinions drawn from? From the experiences of what elementary english class did they realize that “Petraeus” rhymes with “Betray us”?

The nerve of these people. It’s sick.
